Reed & Mackay (R&M), a corporate travel and event management provider, announced a new collaboration with Clarasight to provide clients with the option to improve efficiency and drive cost savings and emissions reductions. The integration of R&M data with Clarasight’s platform, according to the announcement, will enable both parties to deploy actionable insights for their shared clients.

Clarasight, a carbon planning and intelligence platform for business travel, provides organizations with CO2 emissions reporting with purpose-built software that provides forecasting, planning, management and budgeting.

In 2023, R&M fully integrated its CO2 reporting into its proprietary technology platform through a collaboration with Squake, allowing customers to access granular data on their travel programs to make sustainable choices at each step of their booking experience. With this partnership, Clarasight and R&M will have the combined ability to leverage that granular data from across R&M’s legal, insurance, finance and professional service sectors to provide additional insights.

Chris Truss, R&M’s global sustainability director, said that simply tracking emissions is no longer enough; “there needs to be coherent and achievable activity to back this up, and this is where the Clarasight platform can really add significant value.” This is an exciting collaboration, he said, “because it allows us to leverage our existing CO2 data and reporting capabilities to provide a platform for our customers with access to highly strategic guidance for more enhanced, forward-looking sustainable travel programs.”
