Accor announced that Gilda Perez-Alvarado, the current global CEO of JLL Hotels & Hospitality, has been appointed as its group chief strategy officer. She will step into her new role on Oct. 1 and will become a member of Accor’s management board, in charge of global strategy, relations with hotel owners and strategic partnerships, reporting directly to CEO Sébastien Bazin. Perez-Alvarado began her career at PwC and joined JLL in 2004.

Aimbridge Hospitality, a hotel management company, has named Tiffany Cooper as chief development officer-Americas & Caribbean; and Niall Kelly as head of development – Europe/Middle East/Africa. Cooper has nearly three decades of industry experience, most recently as head of development, North America and Caribbean for Kimpton Hotels & Resorts. Kelly has over 25 years of experience and most recently served as a development consultant for Marriott International.

SH Hotels & Resorts, which operates 1 Hotels, Baccarat Hotels and Treehouse Hotels, announced the appointment of Pranav Jampani as vice president of sustainability. He has more than 15 years of experience in corporate sustainability and joins the company from Venetian Las Vegas Gaming, where he was head of sustainability and corporate social responsibility. Prior to that, he worked with utilities and regulatory agencies on energy efficiency and sustainability programs.
