Appointments and promotions at JetBlue and ATPI

JetBlue has named Vijay Raman as vice president of sales and revenue management, responsible for revenue optimization, ancillary strategy, distribution and corporate sales. He most recently was head of pricing at MoneyGram International. Prior to that, Raman spent seven years at Spirit, where he was senior director of revenue management. He has also worked at American Airlines in sales strategy and revenue management.

ATPI, a UK-based TMC, has named a new management team for the US to drive further growth in the market, according to an announcement. Ettienne de Swardt, who has led the company’s sales and account management in North America for more than a decade, has been named managing director for the US. Judy Peplinski, who has been managing director for the US, will become head of global strategy for ATPI’s energy division. Both Peplinski and de Swardt will largely focus on the energy, marine and mining sector in the US.
