Hyatt Hotels Corporation has named Marc Jacheet as group president, Europe, Africa and Middle East (EAME); and Javier Águila as chief growth officer. Jacheet has more than 25 years of management experience in Europe, Asia and the US across a range of global luxury consumer brands, including Louis Vuitton and Tiffany & Co. Águila, who has held the EAME role, will remain in that position and support Jacheet in his transition between March 17 and June 30, 2025, after which both will fully assume their new roles. These leadership changes, according to an announcement, further strengthen Hyatt’s commitment to becoming a more brand-focused organization that is set up to care even more for the differentiated needs of guests, owners and developers across five distinct brand portfolios: Lifestyle, Luxury, Inclusive, Classics and Essentials.
