Festive Road, a travel and meetings management consultancy, has added two associates to its managed services practice. Michelle Lemire, based in San Antonio, has over two decades of experience in customer insights, including roles with Sabre. Nicole Di Sarno, based in New York, has served with several organizations, including fintech startups and Goldman Sachs, bringing over a decade of specialist marketing and communications experience to the role.
Accor has named Gilda Perez-Alvarado as CEO of its Orient Express brand, effective Jan. 1. She will maintain her current title as group chief strategy officer. Perez-Alvarado joined the company from JLL Hotels & Hospitality in October. She will replace Omer Acar, who will become CEO of Raffles and Fairmont. He joined the company in March.
Sonder, a short-term accommodations provider, has named Tom Buoy as chief commercial officer, leading all aspects of revenue generation and strategy, including revenue management, marketing, sales and distribution. He formerly served as Radisson Hotel Group Americas’ chief commercial officer. Buoy has also held positions with Extended Stay America and Morgans Hotel Group, formerly known as Ian Schrager Hotels.
