He previously served as the resident and COO of the Cloud Business Group at SAP and CFO of Concur. Pelzer currently serves on the board of directors at Freshworks and Direct Travel and previously served on the board of directors of Duck Creek Technologies and Benefitfocus as well as several private companies.

Kempinski Hotels has named Gordon Drake as CFO and Rasha Lababidi as chief product officer. He has over 30 years of experience in real estate and hospitality and has worked at The Doyle Collection, Kingdom Hotel Investments, Six Senses Hotels and others. Lababidi has over 25 years of experience in various corporate roles within luxury hospitality and real estate. She previously worked as senior director of marketing at Emaar and head of marketing at Al Maabar International Investments. She is also the co-founder of Meraki & Modus, a firm specializing in creating concepts and strategies for luxury lifestyle destinations worldwide.
