JetBlue announced it will launch new daily nonstop service between New York’s John F. Kennedy International Airport and Cleveland Hopkins International Airport. The flights begin March 30.

The new route joins existing nonstop flights from Cleveland to Boston. It offers expanded connectivity for customers, according to the announcement, with convenient access to new one-stop connections to dozens of destinations across Florida, the Caribbean and Latin America, along with daytime service to London Heathrow and flights operated by JetBlue’s global partner airlines.

Dave Jehn, JetBlue’s vice president of network planning and airline partnerships, said, “New York is not only a great destination and business hub, but it’s now another JetBlue gateway for Clevelanders and northeast Ohioans.”  With the new route, he said, “Cleveland customers can choose what works best for them, unlocking even more access to JetBlue’s growing leisure network.”

Scott Carr, JetBlue’s assistant director, commercial business and revenue, said the flights “further strengthen Cleveland as northeast Ohio’s gateway to the world.”

Flights between New York and Cleveland will operate on A220 aircraft, featuring fast, free unlimited WiFi; seatback entertainment at every seat; and complimentary snacks and drinks.
