Country is a key market for many clients of worldwide network
GlobalStar Travel Management announced that Danish travel business Mangaard Travel Group has become a partner. GlobalStar is a worldwide travel management organization, operating in more than 2,500 locations in over 55 countries. Its combined turnover is in excess of $12 billion which, according to the company, allows it to drive significant buying power,
James Stevenson, CEO of GlobalStar, said that Denmark is a key market for many clients operating in pharmaceuticals and technology. He said the network has seen a growing demand in travel to Denmark from Europe and the US. In welcoming Mangaard as a partner, said Stevenson, “we strengthen our local market knowledge and experience as well as grow our network with another ambitious and talented travel business.”
Hans Mangaard, CEO of Mangaard, said business travel has always been the company’s specialty. He said Mangaard has many customer relationships that go back to its start-up in 1992, and several employees have been with the company for 15 – 20 years and more. Joining GlobalStar, he said, “extends our global reach and access to advanced technology, helping us further deepen our strong customer relationships.”
