Alaska Airlines is adding seven new city pairs within California and between California and the Pacific Northwest starting in late October, including three from Burbank, Calif. Kirsten Armine, vice president of revenue management and network planning, said, “We’re the only global airline based on the West Coast, and we’re proud to offer the most flights and seats between California, Washington and Oregon.”
The new routes include:
- Burbank-Eugene (Ore.): Burbank will be the carrier’s fifth nonstop destination from Eugene.
- Burbank-Pasco (Wash.): Alaska will be the only carrier connecting Pasco and the Tri-Cities region in Washington state with two Los Angeles area airports: Burbank and Los Angeles International (LAX).
- Burbank-Redmond (Ore.)
- Boise (Idaho)-Ontario (Calif.): Alaska will now serve the most destinations between Boise and the Los Angeles Basin airports (LAX, Burbank, Orange County and Ontario).
- Palm Springs-Santa Rosa (Calif.): This is Alaska’s eighth destination from Santa Rosa.
- San Diego-Sun Valley (Idaho): Alaska and Hawaiian now offer 45 nonstop destinations from San Diego.
- Spokane-Orange County (Calif.)
All the new routes are daily and year round except Palm Springs-Santa Rosa (winter, five times weekly) and San Diego-Sun Valley (winter, three times weekly.)
