Openings in Fort Myers, Fla.; Paris; and Danang, Vietnam
Fort Myers, Fla. — StudioRes Fort Myers has opened. It is the first location for the new Marriott brand. The property has 124 rooms, each with a kitchen, stovetop and refrigerator. Daily rates are expected to be about $100. Marriott said it plans to have 40 StudioRes hotels open in the US and Canada by the end of 2027.
Paris — Sax Paris, LXR Hotels & Resorts has opened, the first luxury Hilton property in the center of the city. The 118-room hotel is housed in a renovated neo-Gothic building that dates to 1899. Many of the property’s accommodations feature private terraces, and all rooms have stocked minibars.
Danang, Vietnam — Courtyard by Marriott Danang Han River has opened in downtown Danang, marking the brand’s debut in Vietnam. The 300-room hotel is also Marriott International’s fifth hotel in the seafront city. Rooms feature working tables, high-speed WiFi and floor-to-ceiling windows with views of the city or the Han River. There are multiple restaurants and lounges, 10 meeting spaces with 10,764 square feet of space, a rooftop pool and a fitness studio.
