The Think Tank is a team of nine veteran travel managers from programs that run the gamut in size and complexity – but each member contributes a unique viewpoint.  Travel Buyer’s POV brings fresh perspectives and ideas to inspire innovation and thought leadership in the corporate travel industry.

At one point or another, most travel buyers have faced questions from their management, their peers and their travelers: “Why do we even need a travel program?  What’s in it for the company? What’s in it for me?”

In this month’s POV, our Think Tank team explains that demonstrating the value of a managed travel program involves more than just numbers. It means putting those numbers – and the successes those numbers generate – in context.  And that takes lots of innovative thinking and communication.
