Southwest Airlines plans to launch a codeshare partnership with Volaris, a carrier that serves 39 routes in 23 cities throughout Mexico. The airlines plan to announce codeshare flight schedules by early 2010. The Volaris codeshare would be Southwest's second international agreement. In July, Southwest and Canadian low-fare carrier WestJet agreed to launch their codesharing deal by the end of 2009.
