Generationally Challenged

In today’s workplace, the Digital Divide may be a matter of mind over matter, not age versus youth
One unfortunate side effect that came with the birth of the science known as demographics is the tendency we all have to categorize people in age-group pigeonholes which predetermine their destinies. Boomers always behave this way, Millennials are always up to that, etc.

“Never trust anyone over 30” was a catch-phrase first coined by a student activist named Jack Weinberg during the Berkeley Free Speech Movement in 1964. It’s hard to imagine that the phrase itself is now over 50 years old. And Weinberg himself is not only too old to trust, he’s too old even to be considered a Boomer (he was born in 1940).
