The National Business Travel Association has introduced its new director of European operations, Ole Bo Larsen, whose appointment was effective November 3, 2008.
The National Business Travel Association has introduced its new director of European operations, Ole Bo Larsen, whose appointment was effective November 3, 2008. Larsen has 24 years of travel industry experience, most recently at H. Lundbeck A/S — a Denmark-based global pharmaceutical company, where he established a professional travel management department, leading the development and implementation of global solutions for the company's travel agency, credit card travel account, and expense management services. Larsen also was acting vice chairman of the Danish Business Travel Association (DBTA), a member of the Paragon Partnership, through the end of October.
The Institute for Supply Management (ISM) and NBTA have announced that Katty Kay, Washington correspondent for BBC World News America, will deliver a keynote speech to attendees of the inaugural ISM and NBTA Summit on Travel & Meetings: Supply Management's Critical Role. The Summit will be held January 27-28, at the Westin Charlotte, in Charlotte, NC.
