Phat Data and artificial intelligence go hand in hand to deliver a smarter travel program
Like it or not, artificial intelligence is part of our lives and our travels, with applications ranging from reading restaurant receipts to getting help from chat bots. The Phat Data that it’s generating is already transforming our industry, and the AI revolution has only begun.

Before we take a deep dive into how AI can impact our data and the managed travel program, we should first understand the relationship between big data and artificial intelligence. They are two very different things that can work together.

Big data is structured data that provides insight into something specific. For example, in the managed travel world, when we take data about our travelers booking patterns, we could then predict what they are going to do next. Take Amazon for example – they look at the buying patterns of all their shoppers and then recommend products to you based on your own buying patterns that are similar to other shoppers.
