United Airlines has opened its third Polaris Lounge at Newark Liberty International Airport, just over a month after it opened a Polaris-branded lounge at San Francisco International Airport. The two join the airline’s original Polaris-branded lounge at Chicago O’Hare, which opened last December. The Newark lounge has 255 seats and opens to passengers past security between gates C102 and C120 in Terminal C. Passengers traveling in business class on long-haul international United flights as well as those flying business or first class departing on the airline’s Star Alliance can access the lounge. Covering over 27,000 square feet, the lounge has 570 power outlets and 450 USB ports, four private rooms for phone calls, 10 private daybeds and 10 shower suites. Personal valet services such as garment steaming are available.
