Traxo, a travel data aggregation and itinerary intelligence company, has launched Traxo Marketplace, an extension of its Traxo Connect platform for capturing and analyzing off-channel corporate travel booking activity. The new tool, according to the company, enables real-time integration of a company’s off- channel “invisible” travel booking and spend data, captured via Traxo Connect, with an “ecosystem” of travel service providers, from duty-of-care and expense management to TMC’s and price assurance services. Traxo Marketplace launches with more than a dozen managed travel service providers, including TripBAM, Yapta and Chrome River. Cara Whitehill, chief commercial officer for Traxo, said that one of the challenges travel managers face when it comes to out-of-policy bookings is getting that data to the relevant downstream managed travel service providers. By integrating with Traxo Marketplace, she said, these providers are better equipped to support their corporate clients who use Traxo Connect for off-channel data capture.
