Traxo Launches Product to Capture Off-Channel Bookings
Traxo, a travel data aggregation and itinerary intelligence company, has launched Traxo Filter, which it calls the first product in the market providing corporate travel managers with comprehensive visibility into their total program spend in real time. The company says that the system captures every off-channel booking, without requiring employee involvement, or without allowing third-party access to a corporate email system. According to Traxo, industry studies show that nearly 40 percent of corporate travel spend is booked outside companies’ official managed travel booking channels, making it invisible to corporate travel managers and complicating their job of managing total spend and tracking employee whereabouts for duty-of-care purposes. Once captured by Filter, all travel bookings are immediately displayed in an online dashboard that provides travel managers with a real-time overview of employee itinerary information and the company’s entire travel spend. From that centralized dashboard, data can then be shared with the company's TMC’s, expense management, risk management or business intelligence applications.
