Travel Leaders Group announced the creation of a new parent company, Internova Travel Group, to enhance service and support for advisors, agencies and clients. J.D. O’Hara, CEO of Travel Leaders Group, will serve as CEO of the new entity. The announcement follows the news that Altour and Travel Leaders Corporate would be integrated into a single unit under the Altour brand. The creation of Internova, said the announcement, signals a strategic reorganization that will group similar brands into a portfolio of distinctive travel divisions, each with a specific area of expertise and focus. Going forward, the Travel Leaders Group name will refer exclusively to the division of Internova comprised only of travel brands that are affiliated with Travel Leaders Network and have a similar focus such as leisure, cruise and tour sales. This move will lessen any confusion in the marketplace around the Travel Leaders brand name, said O’Hara.  Protravel International and Tzell Travel Group will be part of a new, yet-to-be-named, division centered around the high-service independent advisor business. ALTOUR will become Internova’s division focused primarily on corporate travel management.
