TAMS (Travel and Meeting Society), a collaborative network for the business travel and meetings industry, has launched what it calls the first free global travel incubator program. The program will invite early to mid-stage travel startups to apply for a six-month process that will further their business models and products. Additionally, it will prepare them for large-scale investments and connect them with subject matter experts through a mentorship program. Within the incubator ecosystem, a specialized Advisory Fellows program helps aspiring investors learn basic strategies to be productive and competent board members. Each incubator cycle will culminate in an investor showcase event. The inaugural class will open in May. Interested parties may support and/or participate in the incubator in multiple ways, including mentorship program, supplier access, funding/sponsorship and opportunity to pilot solutions. For more information, visit www.tamsincubator.com. The site is still under construction, but it will allow visitors to input their email address, and they will remain informed of updates.
