Satisfaction with business travel grew in the last quarter more among US travelers than among travelers anywhere else in the world, according to the latest GBTA Business Traveler Sentiment Index, in partnership with RoomIt by CWT, the hotel distribution division of CWT. Satisfaction among US travelers grew 5.7 points from the last quarter, compared to a global increase of 0.4 points. Peggy Studer, vice president of marketing of RoomIt by CWT, said that establishing a better traveler experience sets the foundation for increasing compliance and savings in hotel programs. She said having innovative and modern technology “keeps travelers not only more productive, but overall happier.” The survey found the innovations business travelers want most are in-room chargers, streaming services on room TV’s, wireless charging, mobile room selection and a “smart” assistant like an Amazon Echo.
