Reed & Mackay, the travel management company, has named Julie Oliver as its CEO for Europe. She will maintain her existing role of COO but will now additionally lead the company’s business across mainland  Europe. Oliver joined the company in July 2019 when it acquired Business Travel Direct (BTD), where she had been managing director. Reed & Mackay’s footprint in mainland Europe includes wholly owned offices in Germany and France, plus partners in other key cities. The company was acquired by TripActions in May 2021. Oliver will continue to report to Reed & Mackay’s group CEO, Fred Stratford, and will work alongside its wider global executive team, including Jane Warren, CEO, Asia-Pacific; and John Keichline, CEO, North America.  Stratford said that extending Oliver’s leadership to businesses in mainland Europe was a natural next step as the company lays strong foundations to support its next phase of growth in the region. He added that as travel volumes return, Reed & Mackay has an opportunity to take its European strategy to the next level, “focusing on greater content reach, advanced data analytics and a consistent and extraordinary service across the region.”
