Portland Sheraton at Sable Oaks in Maine became the first property to get the new Sheraton Hotel logo, part of a global transformation of the brand by parent company Marriott. The Maine property was formerly the Portland Marriott at Sable Oaks. Indy Adenaw, vice president and global brand lead for Sheraton, said the hotel embodies the company’s vision for Sheraton, which centers around being the gathering place for guests and local community members alike. The logo will soon appear at properties globally. In addition to the new logo, the Portland property is an early adopter of the brand’s new collaboration with 24Slides, a professional presentation design service that provides business travelers with an exclusive offering they can use while staying at the hotel. Guests receive a 40 percent discount for 24-hour turnaround design services. The deal will be rolled out to all Sheraton hotels.
