Hilton has named Fiesal Jaffer as global head, LXR Hotels & Resorts, Hilton’s newest luxury collection brand. He had been senior vice president, business development for Capella Hotel Group. He has also held investment and business development roles with Host Hotels and Fairmont-Raffles Hotels International.


Ryanair DAC has named Eddie Wilson as CEO, replacing Michael O’Leary, as the low-cost carrier continues its reorganization. The airline has reorganized itself as a holding group company comprising several airlines, with O’Leary as overall chief executive. Ryanair DAC is the largest airline within the group. Wilson is a 22-year veteran of Ryanair who as chief people officer led negotiations with pilot and crew unions recognized by Ryanair in 2017.


GoldSpring Consulting, a business travel and meetings consultancy, is partnering with Chris Pouney in the Europe/Middle East Africa region. With the arrangement, Pouney will expand his travel management consulting portfolio while bringing GoldSpring more regional presence and specialization in procurement consulting. Pouney has more than 25 years’ experience in corporate travel, including seven years as global lead for travel for Citigroup.
