Festive Road, the global travel management consultant, has added three managers to its team. They are:

  • Barbara Arena — global cargo manager. She joins from Oracle, where she was principal category manager for global travel sourcing. With more than 25 years of experience, she also held the role of team lead for the Oracle VIP Travel Desk while at Rosenbluth International.
  • Frasier Johnson — learning and design content manager. She brings more than 10 years of experience with governmental organizations, most recently with the administrative office of the United States Courts. She has also consulted with the Defense Health Agency, General Services Administration, Department of Defense, Veteran Affairs and Homeland Security.
  • Amy Williams — technical program manager. She brings more than 20 years of experience in software architecture, development, training and mentorship. She began her career in corporate travel technology at Concur, worked with Atriis as a customer solutions architect, and was an independent consultant focused on mid-office and booking tool implementations for regional and multinational travel management companies.

Fox World Travel has named Nahren Youkhana as global sales director. She brings more than 15 years of hospitality sales experience to the company. And, according to an announcement, Youkhana’s background in business travel representing hotels will be a valuable resource for prospective clients who are navigating a quickly changing travel environment.


United Airlines named Jonathan Ireland as senior vice president of finance, overseeing the carrier’s $40 billion operating cost structure and $5 billion capital budget, managing the business planning functions and leading enterprise financial goal setting. Prior to his promotion, Ireland held increasingly responsible positions in United’s finance organization, serving as vice president of financial planning and analysis; vice president and chief financial officer of operations; vice president and chief financial officer for the commercial team; and managing director of investor relations.


CWT, the travel management platform, has appointed Janet Wu Nuckles as vice president, tax, reporting directly to Judy Hendrick, CFO. Based in Texas, she will be responsible for the strategy, delivery, leadership and systems that underpin the company’s tax structure and international processes. With over 20 years of experiences in the field, Nuckles joins CWT from Neutron Holdings Inc. where she was global head of tax. Prior to that, she was at BMC Software Inc. for almost 13 years.


Rosewood Hotel Group made several executive appointments, including Priya Kapoor as vice president of digital, a new position; Soo Jeong Lee as vice president of design, overseeing the Europe/Middle East/Africa region; and Simon Gilkes as senior director of commercial, overseeing the European/Middle Eastern/Africa and Caribbean regions. Kapoor has 15 years of experience in digital and e-commerce, having held roles at Ogilvy & Mather, Mattel and L’Oréal. Lee has held the role of senior corporate director of design at Rosewood for over five years. Gilkes joined Rosewood in 2018 as regional director of sale and marketing for Rosewood Hong Kong.
