Flight Centre Travel Group (FCTG) has named David Richardson as executive vice president and general manager of supply in the Americas. He has almost 20 years of industry experience, having started his FCTG career in London in 2004. He moved to New York in 2012 to launch the account management area for Corporate Traveler USA (part of FCTG), and in 2016 transitioned into the supply space in his most recent position as senior vice president, supply strategy and distribution.
Expedia has named Julie Whalen as CFO, effective Sept. 26. She joins from Williams Sonoma, where she started in 2001 and eventually spent 10 years as CFO. She has been on Expedia's board of directors and audit committee since 2019 and has been chair of the audit committee since 2020. Whalen will continue as a board member but has resigned as chair of the audit committee as she takes on her new role.
JetBlue has named Kevin Mathison as vice president, enterprise planning. Prior to joining the carrier, he spent two decades at Delta, where he first served as a line pilot and later held a number of leadership roles in operational performance and planning, network planning and crew resources. Mathison is also a retired naval officer and aviator, having served in the U.S. Navy for two decades.
