BCD Travel has named World Travel Service (WTS) president David Mitchell as president of its midmarket-focused travel management companies, a new position; and Michèle Lawley as president of the company’s European operations. As president of BCD Travel Midmarket in North America, Mitchell will oversee not only WTS — where he will continue as president — but also Acendas Travel, in which BCD acquired a majority stake in 2017; and Adelman Travel Group, which BCD acquired in 2019. Mitchell joined WTS in 2020. During a 36-year career, he has served as senior vice president of supplier relations in the Americas for BCD and as a Delta Air Lines sales executive. Lawley, currently senior vice president for Europe, will take over responsibility for operations and finances for the Continent on Aug. 31.


Four Corners Aviation, a private aviation provider, has named Vincent Kavanagh as executive vice president, head of sales. An industry veteran, he joins the company from Air Partner, where he held senior sales positions for over eight years. He has also worked with VistaJet International and NetJets Europe.


Main Street Hospitality has named Joe Gallo as president and Terry Coughlin as hospitality leadership coach. The company operates eight properties in the Northeast. Gallo brings 30 years of financial and management experience to his role, including as managing director in the Global Investment Bank at Citigroup in New York, Milan and Boston. Coughlin worked at Danny Meyer’s Union Square Hospitality Group for 23 years, including as managing partner and director of operations.
