has named Brett Hart as president, replacing CEO Oscar Munoz. Hart had been serving as executive vice president and chief administrative officer of the carrier. Munoz will become executive chair and current president Scott Kirby will become CEO following the annual shareholder meeting on May 20. Hart joined the airline in 2010 and served as interim CEO for six months in 2015 while Munoz recovered from a heart transplant. will consolidated its lodging operations under Liam Brown, who will take on the role of group president, North America; and Craig Smith as group president, international. They will take those positions after the retirement early next year of Dave Grissen, group president, the Americas, who has been with the company for 36 years. Brown is currently group president, Europe, Middle East & Africa; and Smith is group president, Asia-Pacific.
