CWT has named Michelle McKinney Frymire as CEO. Kurt Ekert, the current CEO, will step down and move into a senior advisor role with the TMC. Frymire has been with CWT since 2019, most recently as its president of strategy and transformation and CFO. Her career before CWT spans more than 20 years. She has held leadership roles at Starwood Vacation Ownership, Delta Air Lines and its Delta Technology division and Continental Airlines. Frymire has also held senior executive positions at several private equity portfolio companies.


Mandarin Oriental Hotel Group has appointed Joanna Flint as chief commercial officer. The newly created role will have her oversee the development and execution of the Group’s commercial strategy while also taking executive responsibility for all aspects of Mandarin Oriental’s customer experience. Prior to joining Mandarin Oriental, Flint spent 12 years at Google in general management and sales leadership roles, most recently as managing director - global partner business. Prior to Google, she was principal consultant at Ogilvy Asia Pacific. This followed a decade in the travel industry leading global e-commerce, CRM and customer service transformation programs for Singapore Airlines and British Airways.


Deem, a mobile and cloud technology provider for corporate travel, named Harper Lieblich as vice president of product. Most recently senior director of product experience at Deem, he was instrumental in launching Travel SafetyCheck and accessibility features in the company’s Etta platform. Lieblich’s prior experience includes established and start-up companies such as Mission Motorcycles, Clear Channel Media and Bloomberg R&D.
