CummingGrace Deem, a mobile and cloud technology provider for the corporate travel industry, has named David Grace as chief revenue officer, Christina Woronchak in a strategic advisory role and Annette Cumming as vice president of channel sales. The company was acquired by Enterprise Holdings earlier this year. Grace has decades of experiences, including leadership roles with Enterprise and Vanguard Car Rental, parent of National and Alamo Car Rental. Woronchak, who will consult on strategic sales efforts, has over 15 years in sales and business development roles with American Express Global Business Travel. And Cumming returns to Deem after serving as head of Americas hospitality and digital strategy for Travelport.
TaylorEnterprise Holdings, Inc. has announced that Chrissy Taylor, the company’s president and COO, has been promoted to CEO effective Jan. 1. She becomes the fourth CEO in the company’s more than 60-year history and the third generation of Taylor family CEO leadership. will become one of the highest-ranking women among the world’s largest travel companies and one of the top female CEOs across all industries, based on company revenue. In addition to CEO, she will retain her current title of President.
LeissFlight Centre Travel Group announced that Dean Smith, its chief for the Americas, plans to retire on June 30, the end of the company’s financial year. He will take a strategic global leisure role beginning Jan. 1. Charlene Leiss, currently head of corporate brands for the TMC, will succeed Smith on Jan. 1. She joined the company a decade ago when it acquired Garber Travel.
TripActions, the business travel platform, announced that Thomas Tuchscherer has joined the company as CFO. Tuscherer brings more than 20 years of financial and operations experience in scaling hyper growth tech companies to his new role at the corporate travel management leader. Prior to TripActions, Thomas served as CFO at Snowflake, CFO at Talend, in various leadership roles over product, strategy, operations, and planning at SAP, and as vice president of corporate development at Cartesis.
Norwegian Air has appointed Marty St. George as interim chief commercial officer. He has more than 30 years of experience in aviation and until recently was CCO at JetBlue Airways. He has also worked at United Airlines and US Airways.
TaorminaDream Hotel Group has named Randy Taormina as vice president of operations. He has been serving as area managing director for the company and previously worked at Highgate Hotels in Miami and New York.
