SpragueBeckMinicucciAlaska Air Group announced three leadership changes: Ben Minicucci as president of Alaska Airlines, Gary Beck as COO of Alaska Airlines and Joe Sprague as president of Horizon Air,
Alaska’s regional partner. Minicucci joined the company in 2004
and has served as president and COO since 2016, now ceding
the COO role to Beck, who has been CEO of Horizon. Sprague retired from Alaska in 2017 after 17 years with the company in a variety of leadership positions.
BureauEtihad Aviation Group appointed Duncan Bureau as senior vice president-global sales and distribution. He has more than 25 years of experience and most recently held the position of president at Air Canada Rouge, the low-cost subsidiary of Air Canada. Prior to that, he was vice president-global sales at Air Canada.
RileyHospitality Ventures Management Group, an Atlanta-based hotel ownership and management company, has named Tom Riley senior vice president of business development. He has nearly 30 years of experience, including most recently as vice president of development for Kimpton Hotels & Restaurants. Before that he headed development efforts for Marcus Hotels & Resorts.
EichingerSouthwest Airlines has named Whitney Eichinger as managing director of culture and engagement, responsible for support of the company’s culture. She had previously worked at Southwest for 15 years in the communication and outreach department. In between those tenures with the carrier, she worked at Ford and the Rock Family of Companies, a real estate firm.
