Alaska Air Group has named Shane Tackett to become CFO on March 2 on the retirement of Brandon Pedersen. Tackett joined the company in 2000 and has held many roles since then. He became executive vice president of planning and strategy in 2018.
Korean Air has appointed Daniel Song as managing vice president and director of the Americas region that includes Canada, the US, Mexico and South America. A 30-year veteran with the carrier, Song was most recently managing vice president of the airline’s passenger network and sales.
Driftwood Hospitality Management, a North Palm Beach-based company that operates 70 hotels, has promoted Carol Davies to vice president of sales. She had been regional director of sales and marketing. She joined the company in 2016, bringing over 26 years of sales and marketing experience.
American Airlines has named Kenneth Charles as chief inclusion and diversity officer. He comes from US Bank, where he was senior vice president of enterprise talent, and brings more than 30 years of private sector experience, including a decade of inclusion and diversity leadership.
