Mint House, a corporate lodging company, has launched Mint Pass, an annual membership that offers discounted nightly rates, flexible cancellation policies and rewards for remote workers.
With over 80% of Mint House guests currently working remotely, this new subscription-based model was designed to allow travelers the flexibility to work in a comfortable space. It aligns, an announcement said, with a larger trend that many hotel groups, such as Marriott and Accor, are now introducing to re-engage with this new wave of business travelers. Subscribers would pay an annual fee of $250. Each time a booking is made, customers will get a discount of 30% percent off a stay of five to 29 nights at any Mint House location. Subscribers can cancel their stay up to 48 hours before check-in, as opposed to the standard five-day cancellation policy. When guests stay in five different cities over the course of a subscription, they will earn Nomad Status and enjoy a free night’s stay at any of the group’s properties. Located within downtown neighborhoods of 12 cities across the US, Mint House rooms are two to three times the size of an average hotel room, said the announcement, complete with a full kitchen and access to high-tech amenities.
