Anaheim, Calif. — The Westin Anaheim Resort and Element Anaheim Resort Convention Center have opened within three blocks of each other. The newly built Westin has 618 rooms, including 121 suites; a heated outdoor pool; seven restaurants and bars; and a large fitness center. The 174-room Element offers suites with full kitchens. Amenities include a heated outdoor pool, 24/7 market and free bike rentals.
Mesa, Ariz. — The 111-suite Home2 Suites by Hilton has opened, offering rooms with full kitchens and modular furniture. Amenities include free WiFi and breakfast, Spin2 Cycle combined laundry and fitness area, Home2 MKT for grab-and-go items and an outdoor saline pool.
Lubbock, Texas — The 136-room Aloft Lubbock has opened in the West End Center a short distance from Texas Tech University. The property offers a bar, grab-and-go breakfast, a fitness center and an indoor pool. Rooms feature free WiFi, mini-refrigerator, 55-inch LED TVs with streaming capabilities, a work table and a sofa. The hotel also has 566 square feet of meeting space.
Miami — Radisson RED Miami Airport has opened five minutes from Miami International Airport. Amenities include a restaurant/bar, outdoor pool, fitness center and 2,000 square feet of event space. There is complimentary shuttle service to and from the airport, and free parking.
Nashville — Staybridge Suites Nashville-Midtown has opened in a former firehouse with 164 suites. The hotel offers a bar, free laundry, extra storage closets and a 24-hour fitness center. Suites feature high ceilings and numerous USB outlets. The large indoor pool and outdoor living areas total more than 3,000 square feet of space where guests can relax.
