Colorado Springs – The 64-suite My Place Hotel-Colorado Springs has opened near the United States Air Force Academy. Each room features a My Kitchen with a two-burner cooktop, microwave and full-sized refrigerator. The property has an on-site laundry, grilling pavilion, outdoor pool, free WiFi and a 24-hour My Store in the lobby for supplies and snacks.
Beijing – The 348-room Hyatt Regency Beijing Wangjing has opened in the Wangjing neighborhood of the Chinese capital, near the Central Business District. The hotel has five restaurants and bars; and 14,746 square feet of event space.
Stillwater, Minn. – Lora, a 40-room lifestyle hotel in downtown Stillwater, has opened within four buildings originally built in 1886. The hotel, managed by Provenance Hotels, is home to three new food and beverage outlets: a full-service restaurant, a coffee and juice bar and a craft cocktail bar. Local products are used throughout the hotel.
Denver – Courtyard by Marriott Denver Airport at Gateway Park has opened with 192 rooms. It features the brand’s new lobby design, including The Bistro, serving breakfast and dinner items, “grab and go” options and beverages. The hotel has a fitness center, guest laundry and 1,500 square feet of meeting space.
Tbilisi – The 130-room Moxy Tbilisi has opened. It features a “Plug and Meet” gathering area, lobby bar and 24/7 food and beverage concept. The Living Room is the center of activity, with abundant power and USB outlets and fast, free WiFi. Each room has a 42-inch LCD flat-screen TV and a floor-to-ceiling art piece.
