Des Plaines, Ill. — Avid Hotel Chicago O’Hare - Des Plaines has opened three miles from O’Hare International Airport. The first location for the brand in Illinois, the newly built property offers free breakfast and WiFi, a 24-hour market and a fitness center.

Miraflores, Peru — Hilton Garden Inn Miraflores has opened in the city’s Miraflores district. The 235-room property features a rooftop pool and bar, 24-hour fitness center, restaurant, lobby bar and 24-hour shop for snacks and beverages. It also has 4,300 square feet of meeting space.

Liège, Belgium — Radisson Hotel Liège City Center has opened, the first for the brand in the country. The 99-room hotel has meeting space for up to 20 people, a bar and free WiFi.

Cleveland, Tenn. — The Best Western Plus Magnolia Inn & Suites has opened with 59 rooms and 28 suites. Each unit has a flat-screen TV, mini-fridge and microwave. The property has a fitness center, seasonal outdoor pool, free breakfast and WiFi, and meeting space for up to 30 people.

Auckland, New Zealand — Voco City Center has opened, the first for the brand in the country. The 201-room hotel is part of a dual-tower development that also includes the 294-room Holiday Inn Express Auckland City Center, which is due to open later this month. The Voco has an all-day Italian trattoria and will have a rooftop bar in June. There are five flexible meeting rooms.

Kolkata, India — Taj City Center New Town has opened with 137 rooms and 10 suites; it is two miles from the city center and a 45-minute drive from the airport. The property has several restaurants, a gym and extensive meeting space.
