
Lake Forest, Ill. — The Forester, a Hyatt Place Hotel, has opened as the first new hotel in the North Shore suburb of Lake Forest since 1929. The property offers a restaurant and over 4,500 square feet of event space. Each of the 156 rooms has a 55-inch flatscreen Smart HDTV, free Wi-Fi , mini-fridge and blackout curtains. Amenities include free breakfast, fitness center and The Market, serving freshly prepared meals any time of day or night.
Rome — The 133-room DoubleTree by Hilton Rome Monti has opened in the Rione Monti neighborhood, which runs from Termini Station to Piazza Vittorio. The property features a cafeteria and restaurant, a rooftop bar, three modular meeting rooms and a fitness room.

Melbourne, Fla. — The 180-room Hotel Melby has opened as part of the Tapestry Collection by Hilton. The hotel’s operators say it is the only city center property offering walkable proximity to downtown restaurants, nightlife and shopping as well as quick access to the beach, businesses and Orlando-Melbourne International Airport. Amenities include a 24-hour fitness center and 2,525 square feet of meeting space.
Tallinn, Estonia — Palace Hotel Tallinn has opened as a member of Radisson Individuals, a collection of independent hotels. Located at the entrance to the Old Town, the property is a mile from the main train station and three miles from the airport. The hotel has 79 rooms and suites, a fitness center and an all-day restaurant.
