Seattle – The Sound Hotel Seattle Belltown, Tapestry Collection by Hilton has opened in the first 10 floors of the 42-story Arrivé tower. The 142-room hotel has a restaurant called Currant Bistro, a grab and go coffee bar and meeting and event space for small groups.
Bangkok – Vib Best Western Bangkok has opened, the first for the brand in the Asia- Pacific region and the third globally. Located in the north-downtown area, the hotel’s 91 rooms offer free WiFi, smart TVs and “e-concierge technology.” The hotel has a café, a 24-hour gym and a bar.
New York – Moxy NYC Chelsea has opened with 349 rooms in a 35-story building. Rooms feature floor-to-ceiling, wall-to-wall windows, a writing desk and under-bed storage. There is a restaurant, a café, a bar and a rooftop lounge. The lobby offers ample seating for working and socializing, including modular meeting studios that morph from daytime workplace to evening social space.
São Paulo – Park Inn by Radisson Berrini has opened in the south zone of the city. The 171-room property has a business center, sauna, outdoor pool and free WiFi. There is meeting space for up to 260 in seven meeting rooms. There is an onsite Italian restaurant and 24-hour room service.
Arequipa, Peru – The Sonesta Hotel Arequipa has opened 10 minutes from the city’s historic center. Arequipa is the second most populous and second most industrialized city in Peru. The 110-room property features a restaurant, bar, business lounge, gym and spa.
