Atlanta — Nobu Hotel & Restaurant Atlanta at Phipps Plaza has opened, the 15th location for the brand and the first in Georgia. The 152-room property features a rooftop pool, fitness center, Nobu Atlanta restaurant and 10,000 square feet of event space. Phipps Plaza is a mixed-use development that features an athletic country club, a co-working facility and — early next year — Citizens Culinary Market, a 24,000-square-foot food hall.
Tangier, Morocco — Fairmont Tazi Palace Tangier has opened in the former residence of the king’s adviser. Set amidst 8.9 acres of hills overlooking the city, the 133-room property offers multiple restaurants and bars and a 28,000-square-foot spa.
Phoenix — Synergy Global Housing, a serviced accommodations provider, has added the Phoenix market with six new properties in the greater Phoenix area. Three buildings — The Slate, The Hideaway and The Nines — are accepting reservations for short and long-term stays, with three more properties set to begin receiving guests Jan. 1, 2023.
Rotterdam — The 108-room Motto by Hilton Rotterdam Blaak has opened in a historic bank building. The hotel has rooms with flexible sleeping setups, including standard, flex beds that stow into the wall, bunk beds and more. Amenities include two rooftop infinity pools, a fitness center and the Motto Commons, a gathering space for coffee, working or cocktails.
Glasgow — Clayton Hotel Glasgow City has opened in a historic custom house building. The 303-room property has a restaurant and bar, free WiFi and a fitness center.
Madrid — Zleep Hotel Madrid Airport has opened with 281 rooms, the Danish hotel chain’s largest Zleep property to date. It offers a fitness room, breakfast restaurant, and a combined bar and lounge area.
Dubai — Delta Hotels by Marriott, Dubai Investment Park has opened, the 100th location for the brand. The 248-room property features an outdoor pool, spa, fitness center, restaurant and bar, and a coffee shop. There is also meeting space in three flexible areas, including The Hall, soon to open and designed for larger business meetings and corporate events.
