Dubai — DoubleTree by Hilton M Square has opened with 327 rooms and suites, as well as 131 serviced residences. The property has three dining outlets, six meeting rooms and a grand ballroom, an executive lounge, three outdoor pools and a fitness center.
Lynchburg, Va. — The 82-room Tru by Hilton Lynchburg has opened near Lynchburg Regional Airport. The hotel offers smaller, efficiently designed rooms with mobile desks, large bathrooms and up-to-date entertainment options. Amenities include free breakfast and Wi-Fi, a 2,880-square-foot lobby for working and relaxing, a fitness center and a 24/7 “Eat. & Sip.” Market with snacks and drinks. The hotel offers technologies that include mobile check-in, digital key, remote printing, social media wall, lobby tablets and accessibility to outlets everywhere.
Merida, Mexico – The 151-room Residence Inn Merida has opened, the first for the brand in the country. Rooms feature full kitchens. Amenities include free grocery delivery service, a 24-hour market, a laundry room and a fitness center. There is also 860 square feet of meeting space.
Carlsbad, Calif. — The 99-suite Home2 Suites by Hilton Carlsbad has opened. Each room has a full kitchen and modular furniture. Amenities include free breakfast and Wi-Fi, Spin2 Cycle laundry and fitness area and a Home2 MKT for grab-and-go items.
Dubai — The 290-room Wyndham Dubai Deira and 94-room Super 8 by Wyndham Dubai Deira have opened as part of the Deira Enrichment Project, a mixed-use development. Both are a 20-minute drive from Dubai International Airport. The Super 8, the first for the brand in the country, has a restaurant, airport shuttle and free breakfast and Wi-Fi. The Wyndham has a heated outdoor pool, fitness center, restaurant and free Wi-Fi.
