San Antonio – TownePlace Suites by Marriott San Antonio Westover Hills has opened 17 miles from San Antonio International Airport and 20 minutes from downtown. The property offers studio and one-bedroom suites with full kitchens. Most rooms also feature the Home Office Suite, offering storage and flexible space. Amenities include a complimentary breakfast, 24-hour In a Pinch Market and On Us coffee service, exercise room, meeting space and free WiFi.
Chicago – Sophy Hyde Park, a 98-room boutique hotel, has opened in the Hyde Park neighborhood. The property has a restaurant/bar/lounge called Mesler Kitchen and will offer a daily “social” between 2 p.m. and 5 p.m. An outdoor lounge area accommodates 24 guests and there is an indoor private dining room for up to 14 with its own outdoor patio and fire pit.
Nashville – The 123-suite Residence Inn Nashville at Opryland has opened eight miles from Nashville International Airport and 11 miles from downtown. The property offers studio and one-bedroom suites, all with full kitchens. Amenities include free breakfast and WiFi, 24-hour food and beverage market, heated indoor pool, fitness center, a patio with barbecue grills and firepit, and a lobby bar.
Fort Atkinson, Wis. – Country Inn & Suites by Radisson, Fort Atkinson has opened, the first hotel to be built in the city in 18 years. The property offers 83 guestrooms and suites, fitness center, indoor pool and free WiFi. There are four meeting rooms for gatherings of up to 300.
Baton Rouge – Courtyard by Marriott Baton Rouge Downtown has opened with 135 rooms. It offers the Refreshing Business lobby, where guests can work or relax outside their rooms. Along with media pods, free WiFi and a variety of seating zones, the space is available for meetings, social gatherings and more. The lobby also features The Bistro, offering breakfast and light evening fare, as well as beverages. There is a Starbucks adjacent to the lobby, a fitness center, a guest laundry and meeting space for up to 50 people.
Franklin, Tenn. – The 244-room Hilton Franklin Cool Springs has opened in the city’s Meridian Cool Springs District. The hotel offers a roof-level patio, heated pool, a restaurant and lounge, and 6,200 square feet of meeting space. There are six suites with floor-to-ceiling windows.
