Charleston, S.C. – The 112-room Cambria Hotel Mount Pleasant-Charleston has opened, the brand’s first location in the state. Minutes from downtown, the property features: spa-like bathrooms with Bluetooth mirrors; food service featuring fresh local dishes, craft beers, wine and small bites; fitness center; and meeting space.
Brookings, S.D. – Country Inn & Suites by Radisson, Brookings, SD has opened near the Swiftel Center (an event venue) and South Dakota State University. The 75-room hotel offers a fitness center, indoor pool, free parking and WiFi, and a complimentary breakfast. There is a boardroom-style meeting space for up to eight guests.
Trabzon, Turkey – The 162-room Radisson Blu Hotel, Trabzon has opened less than two miles from the city center and with rooms offering views of the Black Sea. The hotel has two restaurants, a spa and wellness center, and an outdoor pool. Amenities include free WiFi.
Elyria, Ohio – Courtyard by Marriott Elyria has opened with 104 rooms. It features the bag storage “Luggage Drop” and a “Tech Drop” ledge for plugging in personal devices. The lobby offers the Bistro, serving breakfast and dinner, grab and go options and beverages. There is also a business library with several computer terminals, as well as a printer and computer stations for printing boarding passes and checking flight status.
Mt. Vernon, Ill. – DoubleTree by Hilton Mt. Vernon has opened with 200 rooms just outside the city center. The property offers a restaurant specializing in American cuisine, a large atrium with a 30-foot water feature, free WiFi, rooms with refrigerators and microwaves, a fitness center and a heated indoor pool. The property has more than 9,000 square feet of meeting space for up to 600 guests.
