Cairo – The 286-room St. Regis Cairo has opened on the banks of the Nile. The hotel offers several restaurants and bars, a spa, a ballroom and 10 meeting rooms. All guests enjoy St. Regis Butler service.

Arlandastad, Sweden – The 150-room Scandic Arlandastad has opened next door to Arlanda Airport and near the Scandinavian XPO conference center. Located in the Arlanda Airport City, the property offers free Wi-Fi, a restaurant and bar, gym and seven meeting rooms, with the largest accommodating 100 people.

Washington, DC – Hotel Madera and Firefly Kitchen + Bar have reopened in Dupont Circle after a major redo and under new ownership and management. The 81-room property has only nine guest rooms per level, with each floor having free sparkling and still water filling stations. Each room has a mobile desk, 55-inch HDTV with integrated streaming, and Bluetooth speakers with charging ports and wireless charging capability. Firefly Kitchen + Bar is open initially for dinner at 25% capacity, with potential to expand into outdoor seating for spring. Amenities include a fitness center and meeting rooms.

Phnom Penh, Cambodia – The 247-room Hyatt Regency Phnom Penh has opened, the first for the brand in the city and the second in the country. Located in the cultural and business district of Doun Penh, the property is a 30-minute drive from the airport. Rooms are spacious and offer 65-inch TV’s, rain showers and keyless entry. Amenities include a Regency Club Lounge, several bars, 15,000 square feet of meeting space, an outdoor infinity pool, a 24-hour gym and a spa.

Austin – The 80-suite Colton House Hotel has opened with studios and one-, two- and three-bedroom suites, each with a full kitchen or kitchenette; many feature washers and dryers. Opening later this month is a coffee and cocktail bar. The hotel also offers a 5,000-square-foot outdoor space; a heated outdoor pool; a 1,200-square-foot penthouse event space; and a fitness center.
