InterContinental Hotels Group has unveiled its new all-suites brand, Atwell Suites. The new upper-midscale hotel brand, optimized for a longer stay of four to six nights, targets guests seeking memorable experiences. The design integrates flexibility throughout the property as well as a differentiated set of amenities and services falling between those offered by traditional extended stay and traditional select service hotels.

The all-studio suites will include distinct zones for living and sleeping, a kitchenette area, a separate work area, a pullout sofa and an oversized vanity in the bathroom. Public spaces will allow guests to connect and collaborate in flexible meeting spaces – including a meeting room integrated into the lobby, outdoor space, huddle areas and public/private working spaces.

All properties will offer F&B options including a complimentary hot breakfast, grab-and-go options and premium coffee. In the evenings, guests may enjoy a bar in the lobby that will serve small plates paired with a drink menu. Hotels will include IHG’s in-hotel WiFi, IHG Connect. Self check-in will be offered at tablets in close proximity to the front desk/bar area.

“The Atwell Suites brand is tailor-made to meet the significant demand in the upper-midscale segment for a new all-suites brand,” according to Keith Barr, IHG CEO. “Our newest offer gives owners and guests something different to what’s out there today – a stylish suite with the flex for guests to work, socialize or explore over a four-to-six-night stay.”
