HRS, the global hotel solutions provider, has opened offices in Amsterdam and Paris. Chris Crowley, vice president of EMEA Enterprise Solutions, said the new, centrally located offices “will serve as touchpoints for productive meetings and creative lodging strategies that help companies optimize their hotel spend.” According to an announcement, the new offices are timely as companies with significant hotel expenditures navigate the evolving ramifications of Brexit negotiations as well as increased rates. (Standard & Poor’s Global projects hotel rate increases in the high single digits in the Benelux countries and France.) The Amsterdam office is located in the “Silicon Island” area of the city, minutes from the central train station, where six trains run to Schiphol Airport every hour. The Paris office is in the La Dé- fense district, where 15 of the world’s 50 largest companies have offices.
