Hertz announced a series of executive appointments, including several former leaders at Delta Air Lines. Sandeep Dube will join the company as chief commercial officer; and Katherine Lee Martin, currently interim general counsel, has become general counsel and corporate secretary. Dube has over 25 years of experience, most recently as COO at Intuit Mailchimp. Prior to that, he held senior leadership roles at Activision Blizzard and at Delta, where he was senior vice president, revenue management. Prior to joining Hertz in May 2023, Martin held senior leadership positions at X Corp. and Twitter.

In addition, the following leaders are joining Hertz this month: Henry Kuykendall as executive vice president, North America operations; Greg May as executive vice president, fleet management; and Mike Moore as executive vice president, technical operations. Each executive will report to Hertz CEO Gil West.

Kuykendall spent 33 years at Delta, most recently as senior vice president, airport operations, east. May has over 35 years of experience managing commercial aviation fleets and has held positions at Delta, Northwest Airlines and United Airlines. Moore has over 25 years of experience in managing fleet operations and maintenance. He has worked at Delta, where he spent a decade in operations-focused roles. He was most recently executive vice president, Spaceline technical operations at Virgin Galactic.
