New tool promises to enable simplified workflow for meeting holders in collaboration with planners >>

Groupize, a meetings technology company, has launched Expert Assist, which the company says enables a simplified workflow for meeting holders to collaborate with their planning team on the sourcing and execution of simple meetings. Any meeting participant can log on to Groupize and initiate a search process by researching and ultimately selecting the properties that meet their criteria. Based on the configuration of the Groupize rules engine (which considers size, budget and other parameters in defining a simple meeting), the bid is routed to the Expert Assist Console. This allows the meeting team (internal or third party) to intercept the request, evaluate it, and add their experience and knowledge before forwarding it to all hotels. Charles de Gaspe Beaubien, CEO of Groupize, said meeting holders “do not want to waste time filling out a meeting request form just to get the process started.”
