The Global Business Travel Association Allied Leadership Council (ALC) has elected two new members to fill vacant seats. The ALC is made up of GBTA’s Allied Members representing all sectors of travel, including a diverse group of individuals and companies. The new members are:
ALC president and board member: Tammy Routh, senior vice president, global sales organization, Marriott International
ALC vice president: Beth Kinerk, senior vice president, sales – the Americas, Avis Budget Group
The terms of office for the president and vice president are a one-year vacancy term, effective immediately. The president of the ALC also serves on the GBTA board of directors, in addition to their role on the ALC. The president and subsequent board seat were previously held by Dorothy Dowling and became available following her recently announced departure. The vice president seat became available when Routh, who currently held the role, chose to run for ALC president. Under the GBTA bylaws, the 23 current members of the ALC voted to select the new officers.
