Finnair has resumed service to Chicago and Seattle, offering three and four weekly flights respectively to Finland. The resumption is part of a North American schedule that will include 21 flights weekly this summer from five cities across North America to Helsinki.

Aside from Chicago and Seattle, the carrier offers flights to Helsinki from John F. Kennedy Airport in New York (daily), Los Angeles (three times a week) and Dallas (four times a week). Finnair launched service from Dallas a year ago.

The airline continues to roll out its new premium cabins, part of a $215 million investment that includes new Business Class and Premium Economy cabins, as well as a refreshed Economy Class. By early next year, the carrier plans to have refitted all of its long-haul aircraft with the new cabins.
