FCM, the travel management company, has launched FCM Booking, which it calls “a uniquely flexible and personalized alternative to traditional OBTs” (online booking tools). The solution is now available to US and Canada customers and is intended, according to an announcement, to close the gap in the mid-market segment for those businesses that value an intuitive user experience combined with the ability to control key elements around their travel policy. Bill McDonough, president-FCM Americas, said client priorities in the market have changed and that motivated the company to evolve its technology to support those changes. FCM Booking’s seamless integration into the FCM Platform, said the announcement, also eliminates “the usual cumbersome setup associated with other OBTs.” US travel managers, said the announcement, “can expect a speedy onboarding and configuration process, while the agile setup also allows for a responsive approach to fine-tuning the policy in the future.”
